When i blend, i use the fluffy end of the naked two brush, however this really doesn’t work that well but still looks awesome to deepen up a smoky eye – i think the best brush will be a larger, more fluffy brush, something like this perhaps. however, i am still yet to find the perfect blending brush to use with this shadow, so when i find it, my opinion might have changed completely. Sketch has a very velvet-y finish, especially when you’re looking at it in the pot, which i don’t feel transfers as well as it could on to the eye.

(the colour on the left is the maybelline shadow, the one on the right & in the top picture is sketch.)Īlthough the picture does not do the colours real justice, they are both gorgeous. so if you have that shade, they are two that i work together and feel work well as they are very complimentary.

the shadow has flecks of pink shimmer running through it, which gives just the right amount of sparkle to your eyes without looking glittery.įor me, the colour is a little bit brown-er than the maybelline colour tattoo in metallic pomegranate. It’s a gorgeous deep purple in the pot, but when you come to use it, it almost becomes a deep brown-purple colour.
